Express yourself completely,
Let the feelings flow freely,
Why put a reign, when your emotions can touch somebody deeply.
How have you expressed yourself lately?? A recent sweet incident made me realize how we have started under expressing ourselves. Emotions expressed these days are well-measured swaad anusar. We may also fear expressing ourselves for the fear of offending someone. We have built an ocean of emotions inside that is sometimes expressed through just a smile. We may have forgotten to live without bounds and express emotions that are profound. I may be a part of that lot too until it dawned upon me that you can express yourself openly, completely, whole heartedly, unabashedly. Yehi toh hain emotion but ajkal bas emoticon hi banke reh gye hai… So, coming to the incidence which I will cherish forever in my life, I recently gifted a Diwali hamper to my boss, Akanksha Chopra. It was purely out of love, admiration, and respect for her. I was a bit skeptical whether she would like it. The gift was delivered, and I received a call from her, nervously I swiped the green button up. The voice on the other end was so full of excitement, enthusiasm, and appreciation that I was speechless. I may have lost words but the tears welling up on the edge of my eyes spoke thousands of words. She whole heartedly expressed her appreciation. The happiness and surprise were very much evident in her sweet innocent voice. I could feel her true emotions through the phone. Exactly that moment, I realized, may be for the first time someone really appreciated my efforts and expressed happiness so innocently in its full pure raw unadulterated version. Yes, adulteration is no longer limited to food but emotions too that’s when you take someone for granted. Through this write up I want to express my deep profound gratitude to her because maybe I could not express myself properly and whole heartedly on the phone, so words better help me to express how deeply touched I am with her sweet innocent gesture. Full of gratitude before Diwali. Thank you!
