The Pain will Never Go Away….

Some tragic pains are buried deep inside.

It won’t surface always but catches me unaware,

when I’m lost in my own cries.

In moments of solitude, it forms a bond with me.

Reminding me of its presence, its depth, and intensity.

That pain will never leave…

It makes me weep

Begging for some solace yet there aren’t any.

It pierces my heart and becomes a forever part

Because

That pain will never go away….

The pain creates a void within me that can’t be filled or tamed

The more I try it keeps getting deeper with time

A burning fire that can’t be named.

It is like a black hole that sucks everything out of me

Because

That pain will never leave…

What saves me each day, is a silent whisper

That takes me away

To a new hope each day.
