Manifesting

As we slid into the autumn’s embrace,
And as leaves descend with gentle grace,
My heart makes a secret wish as the year ends,
Let it be a whispered plea, that’s what my heart intends.
I have nurtured the dream,
Since the year’s beginning,
Now I wait for its magic to unfurl,
Like a mollusk with a beautiful pearl.
I have wished for the dream in the embrace of the twilight,
I have spun the threads in the bright warm sunlight,
I have also wished for it under the stars,
Dared to dream it despite all the scars.
I have sent the message to the Almighty up in the sky,
Since then, my life has been on hopeful standby.
As the days grow shorter and the nights shudder in cold,
May the heart carefully hold,
A dream so dear,
For it to manifest in the last quarter of the year.
I urge all to say their prayers,
Once fulfilled I will come back to share,
The dream so dear.
I hope it manifests in the last quarter of the year.
